Royal enfield Classic 350 22 Dec 2014 06:23 #3110

Hello sir.
i read your articles in eenadu paper . now sir i need your advice in buying bike
i am planning to buy a royal enfield classic 350.
In all the reviews i read there is a divided opinion on RE bikes today . Most of the people say 2010 RE bikes are the best and the quality of the bikes has dropped drastically dese days... i also read that gear box prob is reported by many people ( i dont know the problem exactly ) . when i asked the dealer regarding this , he says that there is no difference in the engine (2010 n the present model)
please suggest me whether i can go for this bike or not ?
Also recently clssic 350 has come up with new colours .. and when i saw the bike in showroom the tank also appeared bigger (looks like 500cc) tank. apart from this are there any other changes in the latest bike....
thank you sir in advance

HeLL0 RajaSekhar,
Why are you buying 350? Why not 500? There is hardly any difference in mileage between 350 and 500.
0r is it bkoz of buying price? Sure there is a price difference, but it is worth buying 500.
Secondly, please tell me WHY you are buying Bullet?
I am sure the main reason is the THUMP of the silencer. Yes or no? Or is there some other reason?
My choice among all Bullets is Bullet 500.
WHY?
Send me another query and I will tell you WHY?
best wishes

Sir the main reason for buying a bullet is the look and the sound and i would love to buy the 500cc especially the new tan coloured one but the reason for choosing 350 is only the price .. no other reason .
i was actually supposed to take FZ ( as per my situations in home ) but i wanted bullet badly so finally i could make sufficient money for 350cc .
mileage is not much problem ... because daily i travel only 30-40 km only and that too minimum traffic road ...

can you please list out the drawbacks of 350 classic sir

Hi RajaSekhar,
There are no drawbacks of 350 Classic. 500 and 350 are just different creatures. 500 is tiger and 350 is panther.
Can you say that panther has drawback? Not at all. Panther also exists, hunts, survives and lives. It is also a successful creature.
In Guntur, What is the price difference between 500 and 350? Is price your only criteria?
Tell me price difference in Guntur -- and delivery period for Bullet 500 and Classic 350.
best wishes

Hi RajaSekhar,
The price difference is Rs.43,000/- which is quite a lot.
O.K. go ahead and buy Classic 350. It is also very good.
